Compensation: $25.00 / hour + 10% shift differential once on second shift.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Machine Operator to join our swing shift team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating bead blasting equipment, saw machines and power coating systems while maintaining quality standards and following safety policies. This position plays a critical role in preparing, finishing and processing metal components to customer specifications. The selected candidate will work on the day shift for training approximately 90 days prior to moving to the swing shift.

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Machine Operator to join our swing shift team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating bead blasting equipment, saw machines and power coating systems while maintaining quality standards and following safety policies. This position plays a critical role in preparing, finishing and processing metal components to customer specifications. The selected candidate will work on the day shift for training approximately 90 days prior to moving to the swing shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate bead blasting equipment to clean, deburr and prepare parts for finishing processes.
- Set up and operate saw machines to cut materials according to work orders, prints and specifications.
- Prepare parts for powder coating, including cleaning, masking, hanging and inspection.
- Apply powder coating finishes while maintaining quality and appearance standards.
- Monitor curing oven temperatures and processing times to ensure proper coating adhesion and finish quality.
- Inspect finished products for defects, dimensional accuracy and coating consistency.
- Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints and production schedules.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate production records and quality documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures, housekeeping requirements and company policies.
- Assist in other manufacturing and production activities as needed.
- Experience with bead blasting equipment, we will train on robotics.
- Experience operating industrial saw machines.
- Experience in powder coating applications and finishing processes.
- Ability to read measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers and rulers.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing environments for at least one year.
- Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.
- Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, noise, vibration and varying temperatures.
- Must be able to wear PPE.
- Ability to frequently use hands, wrists, and fingers to operate machinery and tools.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the shift.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders when necessary.
- Ability to safely work around moving mechanical equipment and manufacturing machinery
- Ability to maintain visual attention to machine operations, gauges, controls, and product quality.
- Ability to hear and respond to alarms, warning signals, and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment.
